Sports Arbitration
Sports arbitration is a method of resolving sport-related disputes in which a final and binding arbitral decision is made by an arbitrator or panel of arbitrators.
It is similar to the process of dispute resolution in other areas (such as commercial contracts or employment law), with the main exception that instead of finalizing a judicial proceeding, the parties agree to refer the dispute to an arbitrator, who makes the decision autonomously and without any involvement from governments or their courts.

Sports arbitration is the branch of legal practice that involves resolving disputes concerning sport through arbitration. The nature of sports arbitration differs from other forms of commercial arbitration in several ways, including in its focus on the rules and policies of sports organizations and its emphasis on sports-specific rulings.
Our sports arbitration practice covers a wide range of aspects, including the evaluation of claims, managing the process of litigation or alternative dispute resolution, and providing strategic advice to sports organizations. We work with sports organizations and players to develop long-term agreements which address the key issues and needs of all stakeholders involved.
